While we’re here, they’re already dead | (working title)

for performer, ghosts, objects, audience, and space 

-While we’re here, they’re already dead- consists of five main materials: a light table, a camera, several artificial hands, and objects. Each of these materials comes from different places.
Some are related to my life in the last few months and some are rooted in the past. In working with these materials, I tried to understand how I could find my dramaturgy for this composition. How are images related to bodies and how is the stage a place to summon the absent? How can -self- and -otherness- manifest in a solo? how does the narrative move forward through objects that are clear and ambiguous at the same time?
